Description of the appliance
2.1 Intended
use
The Valliant VPS buffer cylinder is a state-of-the-art
appliance which has been designed in accordance with
recognised safety standards. Nevertheless, the user or
third parties can still be injured or killed or the appliance
or other property may be damaged in the event of
improper use or use for which the appliance is not
intended.
This unit is not intended to be used by persons (includ-
ing children) with impaired physical, sensory or mental
faculties or who are lacking experience and/or knowl-
edge, unless they are supervised by a person who is
responsible for their safety or have been instructed by
him in the use of the unit.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the unit.
The unit is intended as a buffer cylinder for closed hot-
water central heating installations in households. Boilers
and heat pumps are possible heat sources. Solar sys-
tems are not suitable.
Any use other than or beyond that specified shall be
considered as improper use. The manufacturer or sup-
plier is not liable for any resulting damage. The user
alone bears the risk.
Prescribed use includes observance of the operating
and installation instructions and all other applicable doc-
uments, as well as adherence to the maintenance and
inspection conditions.

apply in combination with this installation instructions.
We accept no liability for any damage caused by fail-
ure to observe these instructions.
Other applicable documents
All installation instructions for structural parts and com-
ponents of the system must be observed when installing
the buffer cylinder. These installation instructions are
enclosed with the relevant system parts and additional
components.

Storage of the documents
Please pass on this installation instructions and all other
applicable documents and auxiliary equipment to the
plant operator of the installation, whose responsibility it
is to ensure the manuals and auxiliary equipment are
available whenever required.
