Connecting the product to the electricity
supply
Danger!
Risk of electric shock
There is a risk of electric shock when working
on electrical components that are connected
to the low-voltage network.
▶
Disconnect the product from the power
supply.
▶
Secure the product against being
switched back on again.
▶
Check that the product is voltage-free.
▶
Only open the product when it is voltage-
free.

If there are faults or leaks, there is a risk of
electric shock.
▶
Earth the product.
▶
If a fault occurs, use the partition that
is installed on-site (e.g. fuses or power
switches) to disconnect the product from
the power supply.
▶
In the event of a leak at the unit, close the
cold water supply immediately.

Ensure that the nominal mains voltage complies with
the specifications on the data plate.
2.
Ensure that the cable for the house installation is con-
nected to an electrical partition with a contact gap of at
least 3 mm (e.g. fuse or power switch).
3.
Use a line with suitable dimensions to connect the
product to the protective conductor.
4.
Install line protection.

Connect the power supply cable to the house installation.

Disconnect the power supply cable from the product.
▶
Ensure that the cross-section of the power supply cable
that is available on-site is at least as large as that of the
supplied cable.

Use a standard-conforming four-core cable with a max-
imum cross-section of 4 x 6 mm

.

Guide the power supply cable through the product's
grommet.
▶
For connecting the four-core cable that complies with the
standards to the product's power supply terminals, see
the wiring diagram.

If you want to replace the connection cable

an existing larger cable (4 x 4 mm

or 4 x 6 mm

),
strip the existing cable with a larger cross-section.
Due to the thickness of the core, the cable tie

not be attached.

Make sure that the product is earthed.

Adjusting the route of the product's cables
The product's electrical connection can be routed from the
product's upper section to its lower section. On a standard
installation, the electrical connections are located in the up-
per section of the product.

Remove the retaining bracket
