The Vacon var iabl es and fault codes as well as the par ameter s can be r ead and wr itten using PPO
types 1, 2 and 5. The r eading and wr iting can be done via the par am eter field of the pr ofibus message
fr ame. The device par amet er s can be r ead and wr itten and the actual val ues r ead with the hel p of the
par ameter field. The size of the par ameter field is 8 bytes and it is divided into thr ee par ts, ID, Index
and Value.

been given an ID number in the application. The ID number ing of the par ameter as wel l as the par am -
