It is not al lowed to add or r epl ace option boar ds or fiel dbus boar ds on an AC
dr ive with the power switched on! This may damage the boar ds.

Vacon NX AC drive

Remove the cabl e cover .

Open the cover of the contr ol unit.

Instal l Pr ofibus DP option boar d in slot E on the contr ol boar d of the AC drive. Make
sur e that the gr ounding pl ate (see bel ow) fits tightly in the clamp.
