Pr ocess dat a
The pr ocess data field is used to contr ol the device (e.g. Run, Stop , Refer ence, Fault Reset) and in
r eading quick actual val ues (e.g. Output fr equency, Output cur r ent, Fault code). The size of the fiel d
var ies between 2…20 bytes. The field is str uctur ed as follows:

The use of pr ocess data depends on the application. In a typical situation the device is star ted and
stopped via the Contr ol Wor d (CW) wr itten by the Master and the Rotating speed is set with Refer ence
(REF). Via PD1…PD8 the device can be given other r efer ence val ues (e.g. Tor que r efer ence).
With the hel p of the StatusWor d (SW) r ead by the Master , the status of the device can be seen. Actual
Val ue (ACT) and PD1…PD8 show the other actual val ues. See
