Selecting an operating mode
How to select an operating mode is explained by means of an example.
Assume you want to bake a cake in a 25 cm long cake tin. The 'Tips on settings' sec-
tion gives:
The recommended cooking space temperature is given as a range to take account of
differences between recipes. For the first attempt, it is recommended the cooking
space temperature be set at the median value – in this example, 160 °C.

button once or more to select the desired operating mode – in this
example hot air.

Turn the
adjusting knob to set the desired temperature – in this example

The recommended cooking space temperature can be changed as long as the
symbol and the temperature display
are still flashing. If they have
already stopped flashing, press the
button.
