Childproof lock
The childproof lock is to prevent the appliance from being accidentally switched on.
Switching the childproof lock on / off
A
With the appliance switched off, hold the
button depressed for 5 seconds.

Operation with childproof lock activated
If the

buttons are pressed when the childproof lock is activated:
– A double acoustic signal is emitted.
– Nothing happens when the buttons are pressed.

When the childproof lock is activated, press the
button together with the

button.
– The childproof lock is overridden. The appliance can now be used as normal.
– The childproof lock is automatically reactivated 10 minutes after the appliance
has been switched off.

buttons can be used irrespective of whether
the childproof lock is activated or not.
