Remote control
This appliance can be operated remotely. The remote control is powered by a 3V battery
type CR2032 (not included in scope of delivery).
Do not place the remote control near any heat sources. The batteries must be dis-
posed of properly in accordance with the regulatory requirements.

Operating the appliance
3.1
Operation using the operating and display elements
Switching the appliance on
▸ Touching the / / or
button switches the appliance on at power level 1, 2, 3 or
intensive.

The corresponding button illuminates to indicate which power level is being used.
We recommend switching the appliance on at power level 1 some five minutes be-
fore starting to cook. Use a low power level for normal cooking smells and a
higher power level for very strong cooking fumes and smells.
Switching the appliance off
▸ Touching the
button switches the appliance off.
After you have finished cooking, allow the appliance to run for another 15
minutes [after-running time] so that the cooking fumes and smells can be extrac-
ted.
3.2
Illumination
▸ Touch the
button to switch the illumination on.
▸ Touch the
button again to switch the illumination off.
▸ Depress the
button for two seconds.

The light is dimmed.
▸ Touch the
button again.

The light intensity is increased.
