3. PHONE BOOK (NAMES)
You can store the frequent used phone numbers and names in the
memory of the phone (phone book). UT611’s phone book can store up to
200 entries. Each entry may contain a name, a phone number and group
information.
If the PIM card has been inserted in the phone, the card can store the
phone book too. Each entry may contain a name and the phone number
(the number of phone book entries is decided by the PIM capacity).
You can enter the phone book in either of the following two ways:

In standby mode, press the right soft key

). Then press
to scroll to
Phone book
and press the left soft key

)
From the phone book menu, you can select from the following options:
3.1 Search

After accessing this option, the prompt
Name
will be displayed. Key in the
name that you want to search, or the first character(s) of the name (also
refer to page 68 Input Method). And then press the left soft key
(
Ok
).
The phone will search through the records in the phone book, and if found,
highlight the matched name.

P IN
means the searched record is stored in the PIM card.

If no names match the entered characters, the entry most similar to
the searched character(s) will be highlighted. If no characters are
entered, the phone will highlight the first entry in the phone book.
