2.3 Use Speed Dial
If you have assigned a phone number to one of the speed dial keys

, you can quickly call that phone number (refer to “Speed Dial”)
In standby mode, press and hold the corresponding speed dial key to
automatically display the phone number. Then press the
to call the
number.
If you have configured the IP Phone function, you can press and hold
to call the number in IP mode. (See also in section Make an IP Call).
2.4 Make an IP Call
This function requires network support. If the IP Phone function has been
correctly configured, you can dial a phone number in IP mode in one of
the following two ways:

Enter the phone number. Then press and hold
to dial the number.
IP Call
will be displayed.
z
Press and hold
. After successfully connecting to the IP network,
begin to dial by following the network instructions.

Note:
When you are making an IP call, only the IP access number
and the text
IP Call
are displayed.

Prior to using this function, the IP access number, account number
(accounts) and password must be correctly pre-configured (see
page 54 “IP Setting ” for details). Otherwise,
IP Not Set
will be
briefly displayed after you press and hold
.
