MC450 Coring Unit. Operator’s Manual

When temperatures are around or below the freezing point it is  

important to winterize your water system. 

Failure to do so could result in damage to the equipment. 

1. Drain the tank. (Remove plug at bottom rear of Unit)
2. Insert Hose “A” in a container of Glycol
3. Turn Red valve handles to Winterizing Mode 

(Figure 24.2)

4. Open the Pillow Block Petcock Valve
5. Turn on Water Pump and run until water hose fills with Glycol.
6. Close the Pillow Block Petcock Valve
7. Spray auxiliary Water Nozzle until it too is filled with Glycol.
8. Turn off water pump.
9. Turn Red valve handles to Operational Mode
