DIP Switches
Three banks of DIP Switches are located on the Main Board. Refer to Figure 1-5 below:
Note: When setting DIP switches, ensure that power to the board is OFF.
Figure 1-5. BACnet Interface Module DIP Switches
• “A Bank” Switches — Store the Address to set Node-ID/Device Instance. Default is “8”.
Refer to Table 3-1 in Chapter 3 of this manual for switch settings.
• “B Bank” Switches — Store the serial Baud Rate. Default is 38,400 baud, set at the
factory. Refer to Table 1-1 below. For MS/TP use, this value must be set to the baud rate
of your MS/TP network.
Table 1-1. “B Bank” DIP Switch Settings
• “S Bank” Switches — Store the Settings from a group of pretested/preloaded
configuration files which are stored in the BACnet Interface Module. Default settings are
shown in Table 1-2 below. This value is set at the factory and should only be changed if
an Add-On BACnet Interface Module is installed (Switch S0 only).
Note: A single BACnet Interface Module supports systems with up to 4 Signaling Line
Circuits (SLCs). For systems including more than 4 SLCs, an Add-On BACnet
Interface Module is required.
