Important Safety Information
Read the instructions carefully to become familiar with the equipment before trying to install, operate, service or maintain it.
The following messages may appear throughout this manual or on the equipment to warn of potential hazards or to call atten-
tion to information that clarifies or simplifies a procedure.
Safety Symbols
The following symbols and markings related to safety are used on the EDGE system, the EMS and throughout this document.
Their definitions are as follows:
This symbol indicates that an electrical hazard exists which will result in personal injury if the instructions are not fol-
lowed.
This is the safety symbol indicates a warning/caution to a potential hazard or that and an appropriate safety instruc-
tion should be followed
This symbol indicates that the item is heavy or risk of injury and may require two persons or appropriate lifting
equipment to carry or manoeuvre. Appropriate lifting and carrying instructions should be followed.
This Marking (when used), indicates that product is configured for 100 to 130V operation
This Marking indicates that product is configured for 200 to 240V operation
Safety Indicators
The following are used throughout the documentation to indicate the appropriate hazard or instruction related to safety.
