INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Remove the factory radio from the dash
2.
Disconnect existing CD Changer from the radio connectors if there is one
3.
Plug the CAS-CXi round DIN plug to the PA11-CHR interface box labeled
“RADIO”
4.
Connect the other end of the CAS-CXi to the factory radio CD Changer
connector, (Radios with “Mode” button use the square connector on the CAS-
CXi).
(Radios with “CD-C” button, remove rubber cover with the silver warning tape
and plug into radios 8-pin DIN connector.)
5.
Connect the audio output of the auxiliary device to AUX input jack on the
PA11-CHR if additional AUX option was selected by setting the DIP switch #1 to
“OFF”
6.
Set Dip switch #2 to “OFF” only if
Direct Mode
is preferred.
7.
Plug CB-PA14 cable to PA11-CHR adapter box labeled “iPod”
8.
Reinstall Radio
WARNING!!
Use only the iPod connection cable (part no. CB-PA14) included with the PA11-CHR interface. IPod
connection cables from other sources may look similar, but using them may damage your iPod
.
