GENERAL SAFETY STANDARDS
PERSONS SAFETY
Strictly follow these general safety instructions.
Installation operations, startup and maintenance.
Only qualified personnel must operate in installation, to search possible damages and in general for each kind
ofoperation on installation or on devices. This personnel must own the appropriate documents. In any case not qualified
personnel can operate on power supply equipment.
Power supply circuit breaker
The equipment must be steadily installed, so the standards require a manual power supply circuit breaker. This device
must be inserted by the installer into a cubicle that can also contain other devices. Consequently this device must be
clearly identified.
Batteries
The equipment is internal powered by two lead sealed batteries.
WARNING!
If specified batteries are replaced by other batteries not according to required characteristics there is danger of
explosion.
Batteries may cause electric shock or burns due to high short circuit current. It is necessary to take the following
precautions:
Take off watches, rings, bracelets and any metal object.
Use objects with insulated handles.
Do not lean tools or metal objects on batteries.
Do not try to modify batteries cables or connectors.
These operations may produce injury.
Batteries disposal method
Lead batteries contain noxious substances!

Exhausted batteries must be disposed of in appropriate authorized recycling centers, not in the trash.
PRODUCT SAFETY
The equipment must be steadily installed. See the manual section concerning installation.
Do not install the equipment near liquids or in excessive humidity environments.
Do not let liquids or foreign substances enter in the equipment.
Keep the air gratings free.
Keep the equipment away from direct sunlight or sources of heat.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Strictly follow the installation and connection instructions order described in this manual. Verify the indications on the
identification label: they must correspond to your mains.
GENERAL FEATURES
Ref.1043/191 and Ref.1043/192 are power supply equipments for fire detection and signalling systems that need
external direct current (d.c.) 24Vdc power supply.
The equipment is compliant with EN54-4 standard according to the Construction Product Regulation (EU) No 305/2011
(CPR).
