FRONT PANEL DESCRIPTION
“
OUTPUT VOLTAGE OK
” LED (green)
On:
it indicates that the power supply output voltage is in 20V to 30V range;
“
FAILURE
” LED (yellow)
On:
it indicates a generic failure in the power supply equipment. The failure is specified by lighting one or more
LEDS describe
d later. When the “FAILURE” LED is on without any information about failure reasons, specified by
other LEDs, it indicates that the load connected to VOUT output exceeds 2.5Adc for Ref.1043/191, 4Adc for
Ref.1043/192.
Within two second of the LED lighting up, the NC relay output on J7 terminal strip (FAILURE) is opened to signal the
failure.
“
MAINS BLACKOUT
” LED (yellow)
On:
it indicates that the power supply unit is not connected to the mains;
“
NO BATTERIES
” LED (yellow)
On:
the LED lights up for two reasons:
1. the power supply equipment is not connected to the backup batteries: the LED lights up within 10 min. of
connection loss;
2. the power supply equipment is connected to the backup batteries and there is a short circuit between the
VOUT (J6) output terminals (the LED lights up within 2 seconds of the short circuit); in this case, if the
equipment is powered, the LED turns off when the short circuit is removed; if the equipment is not powered and
the short circuit remains for less than 30 seconds the LED turns off within 15 seconds of short circuit removal; if
the equipment is not powered and the short circuit remains for more than 30 seconds the LED continues lighting
on and VOUT output is disabled (VOUT voltage is not present) until the equipment is not completely unpowered
an powered again;
“
LOW
BATTERIES
” LED (yellow)
On:
it indicates that batteries voltage is less than 90% of nominal batteries voltage; the LED lights on within 10 min.
of reaching this value;
Flashing:
it indicates that the batteries must be replaced.
“
BATTERY CHARGER FAILURE
” LED (yellow)
On:
it indicates a battery charger failure.
