FORWARD-FACING INSTALLATION
– Setup
1 Place Child Restraint on vehicle seat in
FORWARD-FACING direction as shown.
Ensure the bottom surface is in full contact
with the vehicle seating surface.
2 Confirm for FORWARD-FACING installation
that the seat is reclined as follows:
• 25 – 45 lbs recline the seat to POSITION 1 or 2
• 45 – 65 lbs the seat must be in the
FULL UPRIGHT POSITION.
3 Slide Child Restraint towards back of
vehicle seat until contact is made with
vehicle seat back.
4 Loosen harness by pressing the Harness Release
Button and pulling harness forward. Unbuckle
harness.
5 Raise headrest by squeezing the Headrest
Adjuster as shown then pull upward to
allow access to the RED FORWARD-FACING
Belt Tensioning Plate.
