Make sure that the socket into which you plug the appliance is earthed.
Always check the appliance’s Power Cord (6) to make sure it is not damaged. Never use the
appliance if the Power Cord (6) is damaged. A damaged Power Cord (6) must be replaced by a
qualified electrician.
Never immerse Power Cord with the Plug (6), Kettle (11) or Warming Plate (3), Base (1) into
the water.
Do not use either the Kettle (11) or the Teapot (7) in microwave oven (metal parts).
An electrical appliance should not be used if the supplied Power Cord (6) is damaged or if the
appliance has been dropped. In such cases, please contact your local Service Center UNIT,
because special tools are required for repairing. Inexpertly carried out repair can be dangerous
and result in considerable risk to the user.
Always use under attendance and with the Lids (8, 12) closed.
For household with children: close adult supervision is necessary. Take care to avoid an
overhanging lead. Water can remain hot for a considerable long time after boiling and can
present a scald hazard.
Do not place the Kettle (11) or the Teapot (7) near or on sources of heat.
The cordless Kettle (11) must never be put on the Warming Plate (3) on the Teapot’s (7) place.
It must only be connected to the Central Connection for Cordless Kettle (5).
Never exceed the «MAX» level. If the Kettle (11) is overfilled, hot water may splash from the
Spout (15).
Rinse your Kettle (11) after each use and boil only fresh water.
Heat water only in the Kettle (11).
Never leave the Teapot (7) empty on the Warming Plate (3) after use.
Never put the Teapot (7) with just boiled water on a cold, wet or slippery surface. The Teapot
(7) may crack because of the temperature difference or be simply be damaged.
Don’t put the Teapot (7) when it is wet on a Warming Plate (3) this can damage the Teapot (7).
Do not put any other container than the Teapot (7) on the Warming Plate (3).
Do not leave/put an aluminum foil between the Warming Plate (3) and the Teapot (7).
Handle extra care not to touch the Warming Plate (3), Kettle (11) or the Teapot (7) when they
are hot: always lift the Kettle (11) or the Teapot (7) by the Handles (9, 17).
Unplug the Base (1) from the mains supply before cleaning and after use. Do not unplug by
pulling the Power Cord (6).
Warning!
Avoid carrying the appliances on the Base (1) when they are full of hot water and tea as
there is a danger of scald hazard.
The appliance should be used strictly in accordance with these instructions as no liability can be
accepted for any damage caused by non-compliance with these instructions, or any other
improper use or handling.
