Making calls – the basic functions

You can use your handset to make both internal and external calls.

Internal calls are calls that

• you make within the range of a communication system, for example, within

your company,

• you make between networked communication systems, for example, to differ-

ent company locations.

External calls are calls that you conduct with users of the public telephone net-
work.
