If “ SET AREA CODE ” appear prior to “ PICKUP PHONE… ” or
dialing, it means you have not programmed the local area code.
Please hang up the telephone and program the area code.
1. If a local call (a telephone number with the same area
code as you set) is reviewed and its 7-digit number dis-
played, press
DIAL to dial the number displayed.
2. If a long distance call (a telephone number with a differ-
ent area code than you set) is reviewed and its 10-digit
number (3-digit area code + 7-digit telephone number) is
displayed, press
DIAL
to dial the number displayed.
Dial Options Button
The DIAL OPTION button allows you to change the format
of the displayed number. The available format follows.
7-digit
7-digit telephone number.
10-digit 3-digit area code + 7-digit telephone number.
11-digit long distance code 1 + 3-digit area code + 7-digit
telephone number.
If a local call, and its 7-digit number is displayed:
•
Pressing
OPTIONS
once will change it to a 10-digit for-
mat (your area code + 7-digit number).
• Pressing OPTIONS twice will change it to an 11 digit
number (1 + your area code + 7-digit telephone number).
• Pressing OPTIONS three times will go back to the origi-
nal 7-digit telephone number.
For example: Your area code is 205 and you are reviewing
telephone number 785-2883.
When the desired format of the telephone number is reached,
press
DIAL
to dial the displayed number.
Since the LCD can only display 10 digit telephone
numbers, when you change the format to 11-digits,
only the first 10 digits can be seen, but it will dial
11-digits after you press
DIAL
.

régional.
Veuillez raccr oc her et prog rammer l’indicatif rég ional
maintenant.

régional que v ous) est visionné au répertoir e de l’affic heur
et les 7 chif fres sont af fic hés, v ous pouvez appuy er sur la
touche “ DIAL ” pour composer le n uméro af fic hé.
2.Si un appel interburbain (un n uméro pr ov enant d’un autre
indicatif régional que celui que vous av ez prog rammé) est
visionné au répertoir e et que les 10 chif fres sont af fichés
(indicatif régional de 3 chif fres + numér o de téléphone à 7
chif fres) , vous pouv ez appuyer sur la touc he “
DIAL
” pour
composer le numéro af fic hé.

3 chif fres + n umér o de téléphone à 7 c hiffr es.
Si un appel local à 7 chif fres est af fic hé :
• Si vous appuy ez une fois sur la touc he “
OPTIONS
”, le f or-
mat chang era en f ormat à 10 c hiffr es (votr e indicatif
ré le n umér o de téléphone à 7 c hiffr es).
• Si vous appuy ez deux fois sur la touc he “ OPTIONS ”, le
format c hanger a en fo rmat à 11 c hiffr es (1 + votr e indicatif
ré le n uméro de téléphone à 7 c hiffr es).
• Si vous appuy ez trois f ois sur la touche “
OPTIONS
”, le f or-
mat re viendra au f ormat or iginal à 7 c hiffr es.
Par e xemple : Votr e indicatif régional est 205 et v ous visionnez
le numéro de téléphone 785-2883.
Lorsque le f orm at désiré est sélectionné, appuy ez sur la tou-
che “ DIAL ” pour composer le n uméro affi ché.
Si le numéro de téléphone reçu compor te 11
chif fres, l’affic heur A CL affic hera uniquement les 10
premier s, mais tous les 11 c hiffres ser ont composés
lorsque v ous appuierez sur la touc he “
DIAL
”.
