B You can adjust the volume of the caller’s voice by slid-
ing the
VOLUME CONTROL
on the right side of the
phone.
C After the conversation has finished, press the
SPEAKERPHONE button to hang up.
2. To Make A Call
A Press and release the
SPEAKERPHONE button.
B When you hear a dial tone, dial the number or press
the auto memory button just as you would on any other
push-button telephone. The number appears on the
display window.
C When your party answers, adjust the sound level of
his or her voice by sliding the VOLUME CONTROL
located on the right side of the phone.
D After the conver sation has finished, press
SPEAKERPHONE to hang up.
If you wish to switch from speakerphone to hand-
set, simply lift the handset.
If you wish to switch from handset to speakerphone,
press and release
Speakerphone
and then hang
up the handset.
Duration Counter
A built-in counter will start counting form your reference 6
seconds after you lift the handset or 6 seconds after you dial
a telephone number.
Tone Button
If the PULSE/TONE switch is set to the PULSE position, and
you want to make a tone dialing call after pulse dialing, press
the
TONE button once, then dial the number. The number
dialed out will be changed to tone dialing automatically with-
out setting the
PULSE/TONE
switch to
TONE
position.
Automatic Memory
This telephone can store up to 20 telephone numbers (10
auto memory buttons and 10 keypad memory locations). Each
of the memory number locations can store up to a maximum
of 16 digits. Numbers can be stored in either pulse or tone
mode.

B.Lor sque vous entendr ez la tonalité, composez le n uméro
ou appuyez sur une touc he de composition abrégée, tel
que vous le f err iez sur n’importe quel téléphone. Le
numéro appar aît à l’affi cheur .
C.Lor squ’on vous répond, réglez le niveau de v olume de
l’écouteur en ajustant le commutateur “ VOLUME CON-
TROL ” situé sur le côté dr oit du téléphone.
D.Lor sque votr e conv ersation est ter minée, appuy ez sur
la touche “
SPEAKERPHONE
” pour couper la comm u-
nication.
Vous pouv ez perm uter de la communication par
haut-parleur ou par le combiné en soulevant
simplement celui-ci du socle.
Pour per muter de la communication à l’aide du
combiné à celle du haut-parleur, appuy ez sur la tou-
che “ SPEAKERPHONE ” et r accroc hez le combiné.
Compteur de la durée d’un appel
Cet appareil possède un compteur d’appel intég ré qui se
met en marc he six secondes après le début d’un appel. L e
compteur se mettra hor s fonction dans les six secondes suiv ant
la fin d’un appel.
Utilisez la touche de tonalité
Si votr e mode de composition à est impulsions et que le
commutateur de la composition à impulsions/tonalité est réglé
à la position “
Pluse
”, il v ous est possible de c hanger le mode
de compositon du clavier à la composition à tonalité “ Tone ”
et ce, pendant un appel, pour v ous permettr e d’utiliser les
services qui nécessitent la composition à tonalité.
Composition abrégée
Ce téléphone peut contenir jusqu’à 20 numér os de téléphone
(10 adresses mémoir e et 10 touches de composition
prior itaires). Chaque adresse mémoir e peut comporter un
numéro de 16 c hif fres. Les numéros peuvent êtr e pr ogrammés
en mode de composition à impulsions ou à tonalité.
