4.5 Internet
To connect the Network High Speed Dome to the Internet use
either Fixed IP mode or ADSL broadband and a router that share
the online mode (Dynamic IP address mode). After the Network
High Speed Dome is connected to Internet, remote Internet
users can visit it directly via domain name or IP address.
Fixed IP Mode
Setting Steps:
1. Log into the Network High Speed Dome via the crossover
cable direct connection. (For details, please refer to
“Hardware
Installation”)
2. Enter
Network Settings
, fill in the device IP address from
the network service provider in to
Basic Parameters
. Example:
218.84.31.168.
3. Enter correct
Subnet Mask
. Example: 255.255.255.0.
4. Enter correct
Gateway Address
. Example: 218.84.31.131.
5. After setup completes, click
Save
and restart the device.
Then, connect it to public network so that all Internet users
can access it remotely by entering
http://218.84.31.168
into
Internet browser.
