Step 5: Close the fuel filler cap vent.

Step 9: Place the oil collecting pan under the engine.
Step 10: Tilt the generator to drain the oil completely.

Step 11: Properly dispose of used oil.
Step 12: Add engine oil through the filler neck. Make
sure that no dirt gets into the oil.
Step 13: Close oil filler plug.
Step 14: Refit the cover.
11.5Clean oil filter
After each oil change, check the oil filter and clean or re-
place if necessary.
Clean or replace the oil filter after 100 hours at the latest.

11.6Clean air filter
If the air filter is dirty, the engine will not run smoothly
and can be damaged. Clean the air filter after 3 months
or 50 operating hours and replace it annually. When ope-
rating in dusty conditions, clean the air filter more fre-
quently and replace it at shorter intervals.
Step 1: Switch off the generator and let it cool down.
Step 2: Remove the side cover of the generator.
