EXHAUST SYSTEM
The exhaust system must be unique to the stove - this unit must not
be connected to a chimney
fl
ue connected to another appliance.
Fume exhaus on takes place through the exhaust pipe placed at the
back of the stove.
A single (or double) clean out “tee” is recommended at the bo om of
the ver cal pipe.
The exhaust system should be connected to the outside through stain-
less or black steel pipes (resistant up to 450°C) without obstruc ons.
The pipes must be herme cally sealed.
RTV high temperature (300°C) silicone or Interam should be used to
provide a complete seal at the
fl
ue collar and on all joints.
The horizontal sec ons can measure up to 2 meters. It is possible to
have up to three 90° curves.
In case the exhaust pipe is not connected to a chimney
fl
ue, it is neces-
sary to install a ver cal pipe at least 1,5 metre long (unless otherwise
stated) and a windproof termina on cap.
The ver cal pipe may be placed indoors or outdoors. If the ver cal
pipe is external it must be thermally insulated.
If the exhaust pipe is inserted into a
fl
ue, the
fl
ue should be suitable
for solid fuels. Also, if the
fl
ue diameter exceeds 150mm it will be
necessary to reshape it properly by using pipes.
All sectors of the exhaust system must be suitable for inspec on; in
case of a
fi
xed system it must be
fi
ed with inspec on holes.
According to
UNI 10683/98
regula on, the stove should not be placed
in the same place as extractor fans, type-B gas appliances, or any items
that could form a low-pressure area.
The adjacent room should not be used as garage, fuel warehouse, or
any ac vity that could pose a
fi
re hazard.
EXTERNAL AIR INLET
The stove depends primarily on air circula on to perform the combu-
s on process correctly.
- Ensure that proper air circula on takes place inside the room where
the stove is installed. If necessary, install an air duct of at least 50
mm diameter to
fl
ow air from the outside.
- The external air inlet should be connected directly to the stove and

ue

ue
placed so as to it cannot be obstructed. It should be covered with a
permanent metal grill and suitably protected from external agents.
- Air may also
fl
ow from an adjacent room, as long as it can
fl
ow freely
and permanently from the outside into the adjacent room.
- The adjacent room men oned on the above point should not have
a pressure lower than the outside caused by extractor fans or other
appliances.
POWER SUPPLY
The stove is equipped with a power supply cable to be connected
to a grounded electrical outlet having the following characteris cs:
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
The stove must be installed according to the following safety require-
ments:
- Clearance: 200 mm at each side and at the back of the stove for non-
fl
ammable materials.
- Clearance: 400 mm at each side and at the back of the stove for
poten ally
fl
ammable materials.
- In front of the stove the clearance for easily
fl
ammable materials is
800 mm.
- The stove should be levelled; in case of installa on on
fl
ammable
fl
o-
oring, an insula on board must be placed between the
fl
oor and the
stove.
- It is recommendable to keep any combus ble materials (wood
beams, furniture, curtains, etc.) to a minimum of 1 metre distance.
- In case of installa on in the proximity of a wooden wall or any other
fl
ammable materials, it is necessary to insulate the exhaust pipe
thermally by using ceramic
fi
bres or equivalent material.
220-240V, 50Hz. Voltage varia ons of ±10% may damage the stove.
The electrical system must be in compliance with latest safety stan-
dards.
The electrical system must be grounded.
