9.0   Troubleshooting

   

The   following   table   identifies   some   of   the   more   common   observations,   possible   causes   and   
troubleshooting   techniques   that   can   be   applied   as   a   remedy.

before   attempting   
the   last   two

Remove   the   solenoid   and   inspect   
the   filters   for   debris.      Clean   and   
reassemble.   
   
Verify   24   VAC   is   being   received   
from   the   control   product   using   a   
multi-­‐meter.      Conduct   an   Ohms   
check   to   verify   wire   continuity.   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
An   ohms   test   on   the   solenoid   
indicates   ohms   resistance   in   
excess   of   75   ohms.      Replace   the   
solenoid.   
   
After   inspection   and   cleaning,   
operate   the   solenoid   electrically.      
If   it   remains   stuck,   replace   the
