HEG14-BK BLOWER KIT WITH HEG14-HK HEATER KIT
INSTALLATION

This section contains instructions for installing the heater kit and
blower kit for HEG14 and HEG14-01 camera housings. While
these kits are sold as add-on components, they are also
available in a preassembled package. The HEG14-03 and is a
14-inch camera housing with an installed sunshield, heater and
blower.
1.  If applicable, remove the sunshield by snapping it off of the

main housing unit.

2.  Remove the three Phillips panhead screws located on the

rear of the housing unit and loosen the set screws on either
side of the external mounting plate. Retain the screws and
their black rubber gaskets, which were left in the holes on the
rear of the housing.

(See Figure 7)

3.  By sliding the housing shell away from the rear portion of the

unit, separate the housing into two sections. It may be
necessary to unscrew the ground wire connection on the
silver camera mounting plate. However, be careful not to
disconnect the end of the ground cable that is attached to the
housing shell.

(See Figure 7)

4.  Locate the following parts that are taped to or enclosed in the

housing: two black plastic plates, a nylon washer, and three
hexagonal screws of varying lengths for camera mounting;
two hexagonal screws with two metal washers; and two
Phillips panhead screws with nylon washers and rubber
gaskets. Set these parts aside for later use.

5.  Remove the standard silver camera mounting plate by

unscrewing the two Phillips panhead screws located at the
rear. Retain the screws.

(See Figure 7)
