5.17.3. 

Software Update 

When a software update is released for the HS-18 RAHD, it can be installed by utilizing 
the software update feature of the system. Navigate to the “Advanced Settings” window 
and select “Software Update” to access this feature.

Upon downloading the update file, click on the “Browse” button and then select that file. 
Afterwards, click “Update” and the file will be automatically installed onto the HS-18 
RAHD. 

 

5.17.4. 

REST API 

The HS-18 RAHD comes with a REST API, which can be used to write custom control 
software for the system.  
 
The REST API offers a series of commands that allow a program to interface with the 
built-in server on the HS-18 RAHD. Custom software can be created to utilize these 
commands. The HS-18 RAHD comes with two documentations on this feature. One is 
the ‘Application Programming Interface Manual’ and the other is the OpenAPI 
documentation that is linke

d to in the “Advanced Settings” Window of the CCI. The 

OpenAPI documentation is interactive, allowing a user to control the HS-18 RAHD with 
any of the various commands.
