ASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE
Assembling the handle for the swee-
per:
Figure 1.
Attach the rigid tube (4) to the
base section of the handle (5).

Attach the telescopic tube (2) to
the rigid tube (4).

Unlock the telescopic tube by
moving the adjustment button (3) and sli-
ding it out to the desired length.
Figure 4.
Once the handle for the electric
sweeper has been assembled it can be
folded back to the upright position, even
allowing the sweeper to rotate slightly to
the left and right.

The handle on the sweeper can
be locked into the upright position for use
on walls and when storing it.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
Charge up the vacuum cleaner’s batteries
for approximately 16 hours before using it
for the first time.

Insert the charger jack (15) into
the battery charger (12) on the appliance.
The charge indicator (13) will light up. This
indicator will remain lit as long as the va-
cuum cleaner is plugged in, even if the
battery is fully charged. The vacuum clea-
ner will become warm while it is charging.
This is quite normal and will not interfere
with the appliance’s safety or operation.
The vacuum cleaner can always be left to
charge when it is not in use. This will ensure
that the battery is always fully charged and
ready for use.
IMPORTANT:
Please make sure that the va-
cuum cleaner must be switched off before
charging it.

. Unlock the handle from the sto-
rage position by placing your foot on the
base of the sweeper to stop it from moving
and then pull the handle back.

Press the On/Off button (14) with
your foot.
Figure 9.
Move the sweeper backwards
and forwards at normal speed.
When finished, switch off the sweeper by
pressing the On/Off button (14) again.

The sweeper can also be used
as a hand-held appliance, to do this remo-
ve the handle and hold the sweeper by the
base section of the handle.
After each use, empty the dirt container (8),
see section entitled “Cleaning and mainte-
nance”.
Recharge the batteries after each use,
do not wait the batteries are completely
drained. See section referring to “Battery
Charging”.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
If the appliance is being charged, unplug
the appliance before cleaning it or carrying
out any type of maintenance work.
Make sure that the appliance is switch off.
Never wash the appliance or any of its
pieces under running water or in the dis-
hwasher.
Clean the appliance with a soft, damp clo-
th.
Do not use abrasive products to clean the
appliance.
To remove the dirt container:
Empty the dirt container after each use.

To remove the dirt container,
press the release button (9) and lift the
container upward.

To empty the container, place
the dirt container over a dustbin and press
the release button (11) to open the folding
lid on the base.
Fit the container back into the appliance, if
you find it difficult to slot it back in, make
sure there are no small pieces of metal such
as staples or paper clips, etc., attached
magnetically to the motor, which is located
on the underside of the base. If there are,
clean them off and try to fit it in again.
Cleaning the wheels and the rotating
brush:
After each use, dirt may have become atta-
ched to the wheels or rotating brush. Hair,
thread and other such particles are prone
to become caught up in these areas.
Carefully clean the brush and the wheels, if
necessary use scissors to cut away tangled
hairs and threads.
