Precautions for handling clutch
fluid
• Since the clutch fluid has a strong
characteristic of moisture absorp-
tion, it must be carefully handled.
While the clutch fluid is checked,
replenished or in stored ensure
that it is not exposed to moisture.
• Inclusion of other mineral oil (die-
sel oil, gasoline, etc.) in the clutch
fluid may swell the rubber of the
clutch system, resulting in a fail-
ure.
• Adhesion of the clutch fluid on the
coating surface may peel the
coat. Ensure proper care during
replenishment.
Lubrication
CAUTION
• If the clutch fluid level is low, it
is necessary to check if there is
a n y l e a k a g e i n t h e c l u t c h
system. Have it inspected at
t h e n e a r e s t U D Tr u c k s
authorised dealer.
• Remove dirt in and around the
cap before removing the cap of
the clutch fluid reservoir. When
t h e c a p i s r e m o v e d , a v o i d
contact with dirt, dust, water or
foreign material.
• U s e c l e a n c o n t a i n e r f o r
replenishment of the clutch
f l u i d . N e v e r u s e a d i r t y
container that has paint or
mineral oil.
NOTE
L u b r i c a t i n g s e r v i c e i s v e r y
i m p o r t a n t w h e n i t c o m e s t o
service and maintenance of the
truck. Vehicle components such
as the engine, transmission, rear
axles, etc., must be lubricated
with either oil or grease. The
