Access Point - Isolated
When an Access Point is in an
Isolated
state, a connection
to the UniFi Controller software can be reestablished
by reconnecting the Access Point to the router or by
establishing a wireless uplink to a wired Access Point. See
“Wireless Uplinks” on page 32
to find, select, and
connect to a wireless Access Point.
Note:
When in an
Isolated
state, the Access Point
icon will change to red/orange on the
Map
tab.
The LED on the actual device will be steady green
with occasional flashing. This Access Point doesn’t
provide any wireless service.
Note:
Do not use the
Forget this AP
option when
the Access Point is in an
Isolated
state. If you do,
the only way to make the Access Point accessible
from the UniFi Controller is to take it down and
connect by wire.
Access Point - Managed by Other
When an Access Point is in
Managed by Other
state, this
indicates that the Access Point is not in the default state
but it is not controlled by the UniFi Controller.
Overview
MAC address
Displays the MAC address of the Access
Point.
Model
Displays the model information.
Version
Displays the version of software used on the
Access Point.
Last Seen
Displays the amount of time that has passed
since the Access Point was last seen.
