The Remote Display may be set to its default values in one of two ways.
1:
By pressing the "ENT" , "UP" and "DOWN" keys and holding them
pressed while pressing and releasing the reset switch or removing then returning
the power supply. This will put the unit into a test program. The Display will show
"r" and then "r O" to indicate that the ram is OK. then after a short time the
display will show "d P" to indicate that the default values have been entered, then
after a short time all LED digits and segments will be lit to test if all LED'S are
functioning properly.
When all LED'S are lit press the "ENT" key to reset the unit for normal running.
It may take up to 30 seconds for the Remote display to respond to the TD-196 units
data for display.
2:
If the battery backed ram loses its power. The Remote Display will auto-
matically set all values to there default values if the ram loses its power.
This is possible if the power has been disconnected from the Remote Display for 12
hours approx.
The DEFAULT VALUES are as follows :-

= 9600
NOTE :-
When all values are set to their default values and all TD-196 units
have a baud rate of 9600 the remote display will automatically detect the
correct units and channels to display/scan providing the serial line is connected
correctly.
