REGULAR MAINTENANCE
A well-designed maintenance program will add
years of service to the blower.
Check a newly installed blower frequently during
the
fi
rst month of operation, especially lubrication.
Check the oil level and add oil as needed.
Complete oil changes are recommended every
500 operating hours, or more frequently depending
on the type of oil and operating temperature.
The following is recommended as a minimum
maintenance program. An oil analysis program is
recommended.

oil level, and add oil

1. Clean the air

lter.
A clogged air
fi
lter
can seriously affect
the ef

ciency of the
blower and cause
overheating and oil
usage.
2. Check the relief valve
to make sure it is
operating properly.
1. Inspect the entire
system for leaks.
2. Inspect the condition
of the oil and change
if necessary.
1. Inspect the drive line
bearings.
2. Change the oil even if
500 operating hours
has not been reached.
