Tools needed for installation
These are things you will need when you install ID-Lock Smart. In addition to this, you may
need a large cutter or hacksaw to cut the screws. You will also need wires and a power
supply for the TM2-box and IDT, some means of fastening the TM2-box (see below for an
example) and finally the ID-Lock Config app for Android.

Installation of the TM2-box
This is one example how you may mount the TM2-box. Other examples are to mount it
inside a plastic box or hide it above the ceiling.
Make a simple mounting plate by using a metal- or plastic plate that you drill holes in and
attach to the TM2 box with 7 mm wide screws made for plastic as illustrated here.
The TM2 box should ideally be placed close to the Carelock ACE lock, especially if it will be
controlled by a Bluetooth device such as a phone or a Bluetooth remote control transmitter,
since the user is likely to hold their device close to the lock they are trying to open.
If the TM2 box is only going to be controlled by Tx75 transmitters, it can be placed
anywhere within Bluetooth range from the Carelock ACE lock, which is typically 10 meters of
free line of sight.
