Mobile Payment Acceptance User Guide for Android
Partial Authorizations
When a customer presents a payment type that does not have sufficient funds to cover their
purchase, instead of a decline, you may be given the option to accept a partially authorized
transaction.
1.
If a payment is authorized for less than the full transaction amount, you will receive a
message with the Balance due amount.
2.
To accept the amount that was approved, tap Submit Additional Payment.
3.
If either you or the customer choose not to proceed with the purchase, tap Cancel
Transaction and the authorization will be voided.
