To drill boreholes in steel or wood the tools without the SDS-plus
functionality are used (e.g. drilling bits with cylindrical shanks). For such
tools quick locking drilling chucks or chucks with a toothed ring are
necessary.
CAUTION:
Do never use tools without the SDS-plus functionality for impact
drilling or chiseling! The non-SDS-plus tools and corresponding drilling chucks
shall definitely get damaged during impact drilling or chiseling.

Installation of the drilling chuck with a toothed ring

Screw the SDS-plus adapter stud (
