Setting the flash
The camera has various flash options.
Selecting the flash
: Press the control button to the left. Repeat this until the correct
flash setting has been reached (see table 9).
Flash off.
Automatic flash.
The flash will work automatically when there is insufficient light.
Automatic flash with red-eye reduction.
The flash will work automatically when there is insufficient light. An extra flash
will be given to avoid the red-eye effect.
Synchronization with a low shutter time (Night Scene).
The flash works with a low shutter speed to produce the correct lighting. It is
recommended to use the stand.
Flash on.
The flash will work every time, regardless of the lighting conditions.

Note:
The batteries quickly become empty when the flash is used a lot.
Note:
Under normal circumstances, it takes between 6 and 10 seconds to
recharge the flash, depending on the battery power.
Note:
The flash cannot be used when the battery power is too low. Replace
the batteries.

Menu settings when in the Capture mode
The following settings can be altered in the menu when the camera is in the Capture
mode: resolution (image size), compression, voice memo, exposure and white
balance.
1.
Set the camera to the Capture mode.
2.
Press the Menu button.
3.
Scroll through the functions by pressing the control button up and down.
Confirm an option by pressing the control button to the right. The next menu
will then be displayed.
Press the Menu button to return to the previous level.
