7. Click the ‘Scan’ button.
8. Wait until the scanner has warmed up. This will take about
10 seconds. The scanner will then produce a scan of the part
that you have selected. This may take a few minutes,
depending upon the number of dpi and the size of the area
to scan.
9. Close the TWAIN window (figure 13) by clicking on ‘Close’.
You can now process and store the image as you wish.
