In figure 12 you can select how the image is to be scanned in.
You have the following options:
New Image: The image is scanned in and may be be edited and then
stored.
File: The image is scanned in and then stored directly in a file
that you specify.
Printer: The image is scanned in and directly sent to the printer
(also referred to as the copy function).
Fax/Mail: The image is scanned in and sent directly to your
standard e-mail or fax program.
Make a selection by clicking on the circle of your choice and then
on ‘Acquire’. Figure 13 is now displayed.
