9 Troubleshooting

Problem
Cause
Possible solution
The software for your old
mouse is still active.
Remove the software for
your old mouse before
installing the Trust
software (see chapter
5.1).
The USB port has not
been enabled.
Enable the USB port. See
the instruction manual
provided with your
computer or motherboard
for more information.
The mouse does not
react or Windows
displays an error
message concerning
the mouse when the
computer is started.
The receiver/card reader
has not been connected
correctly.
Connect the
receiver/cardreader
correctly to a USB port.
No batteries have been
inserted.
Insert the batteries
The mouse batteries are
(almost) empty. The LED
on the mouse is lit red.
Recharge the batteries by
placing the mouse in the
cradle.
There is no wireless
connection between the
mouse and receiver.
Make a wireless
connection between the
mouse and the receiver
(see chapter 5.4).
The green LED on the
receiver does not flash.
This is because the button
on the receiver has been
pressed.
Follow the procedure for
making a wireless
connection (see chapter
5.4).
The mouse does not
react.
The green LED on the
receiver flashes after a CF
card has been removed
from the card reader.
Follow the procedure for
making a wireless
connection (see chapter
5.4).
