Operation

• To turn ON the saw, press the ON green button (I) (

A

),

after removing the pin.

• To stop the saw, press the emergency stop red button (

B

).

• To prevent accidentally starting up the machine, insert

the pin in the ON (I) button.

Do not start the saw until reading and

understanding all the assembly, functioning and adjusting

instructions.

We recommend making test of the job to be carried out. Use a piece of scrap wood to familiarize with the safest and more

efficient procedure before starting work in the real work piece.

Turning ON and Operation Control

• Wait until the disc has reached its maximum speed before

feeding the work piece.

• Never use the miter guide in combination with the guide to

make the same cut.

General Observations

• Set the work piece against the miter guide and carry the

piece forward, together with the miter guide and into the

cutting disc.

• Start cutting slowly and push the work piece with a firm

and continuous movement.

• When the cut is finished, separate a little the work piece

from the disc. Return the miter guide together with the

work piece to the original position.

• Never stop, collect or touch the work pieces that get

loose onto the table when cutting and the disc is moving,

unless the pieces are at least, 12” long.

• Never use the guide to cut across the grain.

• The miter guide can be mounted in any of the two slots

in the table, even though most experienced operators

prefer the left-hand slot for most of their work.

• To carry out cuts in an angle, adjust the miter guide into

the desired angle.

• When making bevel cuts (with the cutting disc tilted) use

the table slot that will not expose your hand to the moving

disc.

Cut Across the Wood Grain

• Set the work piece edge against the guide and the flat

face onto the table.

• The edge that is against the guide shall be straight and

flat so that the work piece can be guided adequately

through the guide while pushed towards the cutting disc.

• Hold the work piece with both hands and push it

lengthwise from the guide towards the cutting disc. Once

the cut is started, the piece can be held with one or both

hands.

• Upon finishing the cut and depending on its size, the

work piece can stay on the table, get caught by the rear

side of the guard or slide on the table and towards the

floor. When the pieces stay on the table, can be lifted and

be returned through the side opposite the disc.

• Never stop, collect or touch the work pieces that get

loose onto the table when cutting and the disc is moving,

unless the pieces are big enough the remove them safely.

• It is important to have the guard and the riving knife duly

mounted to prevent kickback or the cut closes after

passing through the cutting disc.
