Connections
• The equipment shall be connected into an external device
to extract chips and dust before starting to work.
• The air speed required is 65,6 ft/s for dry chips and
91,8 ft/s for wet chips (18% humidity).
• The air flow required is 882,8 cfm
• Pressure drop in the dust collecting equipment chute shall
be 0,15 PSI
• Connections and cabling shall only be carried out by
certified personnel.
• Double check voltage and frequency required in the
equipment (shown in the cabinet nameplate) match the
power supply.
• Make sure you have overload protection device and a
circuit breaker to prevent electrical discharge.
• When the connection is fixed, verify the equipment is duly
grounded and all the cabling is insulated. Check the motor
direction of rotation and replace the cabling if necessary.
Check all components are in good repair and correctly
fixed.
