Remove thrust bearing end cover screws (371C).

Align the end plate (234B) to the thrust bearing
end cover (119A) so that the holes in the end plate align
with the holes in the end cover.

Replace the three thrust bearing end cover screws
(371C) and torque to values shown in
Table 9
.

Replace coupling hub (if removed) and spacer
portion of coupling. Refer to coupling manufacturer’s
instructions for assistance.
NOTE: Coupling adjustments should be completed
before proceeding with coupling guard assembly.

Spread opening of coupling guard half (501B)
slightly and place over pump end plate (234B) as shown in
Fig. II-C.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: If end plate (pump end) is already installed,
make any necessary coupling adjustments and then
proceed to Step 7.

coupling manufacturer’s instructions for assistance.
