5.2 K9000 Twin with On Board Hot Water Unit
Where the K9000 Twin has a Stiebel Eltron DHB-E 27 AU hot water unit on board there are
two ways to adjust the water temperature.
1. Using the dial on the Stiebel Eltron hot water unit, or
2. Using the temperature valve fitted to the dog wash.
The preferred option is to use the dial on the hot water unit, refer to the Stiebel Eltron
user/installation guide.
NOTE:
Temperature will change with the slightest adjustment. Care should be taken not to
over-adjust. If in doubt check water temperature with a thermometer and

Celsius. Water temperature should be measured approximately 30cm from the gun
nozzle.
The below photo shows the units’ water temperature dial and its temperature valve.
NOTE: The Stiebel Eltron temperature dial is set to 55
o
Celsius
at the factory. The
temperature valve mixes the hot and cold water to a safe temperature.
Should you need to adjust the water temperature further then the temperature valve can be
used, refer to section 5.1.
