Note:
Identify cause of operation before fitting new PRD unit.
When fitting a new PRD, follow the commissioning procedure.
It is advised all electrical maintenance/repairs to the shower
should be carried out by a suitably qualified person.

Low pressure indicator
flashing.

Blocked connecting tube
to pressure switch.

Make sure the tube from solenoid
valve to pressure switch is not
kinked or blocked.

Water continues to flow
when unit is isolated at
isolating switch.

Debris in solenoid.

advice.

Pressure relief device
has operated (water
ejected from PRD tube).

Blocked showerhead.

Clean or replace blocked
showerhead cartridge and then fit
a new PRD.

Twisted/blocked flexible
shower hose.

Check for free passage through
hose. Replace the hose if necessary,
then fit new PRD.

Showerhead not removed
whilst commissioning.

Fit new PRD. Commission unit with
showerhead removed.
