Analog Control Tray Models Only
1. Strip 1/16" of insulation from each of the flying leads of the 500-443 interface cable and tin.
2. Pull the Control Tray out on the repeater and lift it open so that the SSC module and the TTRC
Audio Board are visible.
3. Remove JU14A from the SSC Module to disable PL/DPL Encode in the station.
4. Disable Repeat on the Station.
5. Solder the Red wire from the interface cable to pin 1 of the Expansion Connector J800.
6. Solder the Black/Shield wire to pins 7,8,9,10 on the Expansion Connector J800.
7. Solder the White wire to pin 39 on J800.
8. Solder the Orange wire to the center pin of JU14-JU15.
9. Solder the Yellow wire to the pad where R893 connects to pin 13 of U834 on the SSC Module.
10. Solder the Blue wire to TP9.
11. Set the Raider's jumpers and switches per the chart below.
12. Perform the Alignment Procedure in this manual to complete the installation.
