T-Comm Commands
F1 - Produces the Help Menu, shown above.
F2 - Communications baud rate. Must match the baud rate the Raider is set for.
F3 - Number of data bits. Raider uses 8.
F4 - Type of parity. Raider uses NONE.
F5 - Communication port on your computer.
F6 - To begin entering the telephone number of the Raider’s modem.
F7 - Line Feed insertion after carriage return. Raider uses CR.
F8 - Half or Full duplex operation. Raider uses FULL.
F9 - HEX or NORMAL modes. Raider uses NORMAL.
Fl0 - To exit T-Comm.
ALT F6 - After logging off the Raider, press ALT F6 to hang up the modem.
ALT F9 - After selecting the options you want in T-Comm, you must save the configuration file.
To do this, hold down the ALT key and press F9. T-Comm will then prompt you for confirmation.
Answer “Y”. Save the file as TCOMM.COM in the same directory as TCOMM.COM.
ALT Fl0 - Toggles sound on/off.
Shift Fl, F2, F3, F4 - Your T-Comm program will store up to four programmable macros to help
you in the task of to typing the same words or commands over and over. To initialize a macro, hold
down the CTRL key and press “F1”, “F2” or “F3”. You may then type the message you wish to
have stored in the macro key you have chosen. When finished typing, press ENTER. To display
the message, hold down the ALT key and press the correct “F” key. “F4” is reserved for the modem
initialization string. This string is sent to the modem whenever T-Comm is run. It allows the modem
to be preset for correct operation.
Pg Up - Once you’re on line with the Raider and you have initiated the upload from the Raider’s
Main Menu (press “
U
” to Upload Config.) press the page up key. T-Comm will then prompt you
for the file name to upload.
Pg Dn - Once you’re on line with the Raider and you have initiated the download from the Raider’s
Main Menu (press “
C
” to Download Config.) press the page down key. T-Comm will then prompt
you for the file name to download.
Ctrl Pg Up - This function works the same as “Pg Up” but should only be used to send ASCII files
(text files).
Ctrl Pg Dn - This function works the same as “Pg Dn” but should only be used to send ASCII files.
(text files). NOTE: you should press the “END” key when finished receiving a file.
