GENERAL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE OF THE PRODUCT
Ergonomic, modular and easily height adjustable workbench with constant force springs. The workbench is
designed for professional use in industrial working environments, mostly in light assembly or packing workspaces.
The workstation consists of the frame (upright profiles, spacer bars and feet) and the sliding part (adjustable bench
top with constant force springs). The height adjustment can be done by pressing the locking handle with the fingers
of your both hands.
OPERATING CONDITIONS
The table is designed to be used in dry indoor conditions. It must not be exposed to moisture, corrosives, dust, etc.
Operating temperature is from 10°C to 40°C. The workbench cannot be used in EX / ATEX environments.
FIRST USE
Before adjusting the bench top for the first time, the operator must get familiar with the workstation and ensure that
the locking mechanism of the bench top works flawlessly.
OPERATION
The bench top height can only be adjusted with a 0-4 kg load. It is prohibited to release the locking with more
than a 4 kg load. The height adjustment can be done by releasing the locking handle. Due to the fast height
adjustment, some vibration might occur, and this might cause falling of the loose items from the bench top.
LOADING THE WORKSTATION
The static load capacity of the bench top is 100 kg, but the bench top can only be adjusted with a maximum 4 kg
load. This maximum load capacity for height adjustment is indicated on the edge of the bench top. The maximum
load capacity of the workstation frame (upright profiles) is 300 kg.
WARNINGS
When moving the bench top downwards, ensure that no humans or objects are in danger to be crushed. It is
prohibited to use the bench top as a man lifter or seat. It is also prohibited to release the locking with more than a
4 kg load.
NOISE LEVEL
The way of using the locking system affects the noise level. If necessary, please use hearing protectors.
MAINTENANCE
The bolts and screw connections need to be inspected regularly and tightened if needed. The visual inspection
of the constant force springs is recommended once a month while the bench top is adjusted to its lowest position.
The constant force springs (2 pcs) need to be replaced every 10 000 operating cycles. For the replacement of
the constant force springs there are separate instructions (item code TQES, spare part spring set for Treston Quick
Edge Workstation).
