LIMITS
The limits menu is a very important item of the CineMonitorHD family.
It is used to setup the characteristics of the camera you are using and
some safety levels which will be used in different tools.
MAX LEVEL
Set up the upper clipping level (White).
Adjustment goes from 69 IRE to 108 IRE
All information over the limit will be displayed in red on the waveform and
the overexposed zone on the picture if the “overexposure control” is
activated.
MIN LEVEL
Set up the low clipping level (Black.
Adjustment goes from -7 IRE to 35 IRE.
All information below the limit will be displayed orange on the waveform
and medium blue on the underexposed zone on the picture if the “black
limits” is activated.
WHITE CLIPPING
Set up the upper clipping level (White) on the waveform.
Adjustment goes from 69 IRE to 108 IRE
All information over the limit will be displayed in orange on the waveform
and the overexposed zone on the picture if the “overexposure control” is
activated.
BLACK CLIPPING
Set up the lower clipping level (Black) on the waveform.
Adjustment goes from -7 IRE to 35 IRE
All information below the limit will be displayed orange on the waveform
and dark blue on the underexposed zone on the picture if the “black
limits” is activated.
