Cautions and Warnings
Circuit devices are sensitive to static electricity, which can damage their delicate electronics. Dry weather
conditions or walking across a carpeted floor may cause you to acquire a static electrical charge.
To protect your device, always:
•
Touch the metal chassis of your computer to ground the static electrical charge before you pick up the
NIC.
•
Pick up the NIC by holding it on the left and right edges only.
Before installing the N-TGE-SFP-02, ensure that the system meets the hardware and software requirements
listed.
Any PCIe slot with the proper configuration is acceptable for connection. If the card is installed in a PCIe slot
with fewer lanes than the card requires then the adapter card will not provide the optimum data transfer. When
more than one PCIe slot is available make sure to use the PCIe slot with the proper configuration.
