4.2 SETUP MENU PROCEDURES
This section provides instructions for all of the Setup Menu procedures except F16 through F20.
These can be found in Chapter 6.
4.2.1 Fine-tune 4-20 mA output (F23)
1. While in the Setup Menu mode, scroll to "F 23", then scroll down once using the ZERO key to
enter Fine-tune menu. The indicator outputs 4 mA and displays a number.
2. While monitoring the voltage across R

(see Appendix E), use the right (PRINT) or left
(TARE) keys to change the displayed value until the measured voltage is exactly 1 VDC.
3. Press the SET (Net/Gross) key to save. The indicator outputs 20 mA and displays another
number.
4. While monitoring the voltage across R
L
, use the right (PRINT) or left (TARE) keys to change
the displayed value until the measured voltage is exactly 5 VDC.
5. Press the SET (Net/Gross) key to save and revert back to F23.
